Welcome to Zerah’s Farm! We are excited to share the progress of our first project in developing our vineyard. As we embark on this journey, we are mindful of the needs of our young grape vines. They require ample water for a healthy start. However, our existing well wasn’t equipped to provide the necessary flow rate for irrigation. To overcome this challenge, we took a proactive approach. We installed two 5,000-gallon storage tanks that will fulfill the vineyard’s water demands. These tanks serve as a reservoir for irrigation, gradually replenished by the well pump. And to ensure a sustainable water supply, we have also installed a pole-mounted 24 kWatt solar array to power the well pump. This environmentally friendly solution further enhances our commitment to a greener future.
